The Brenta Riviera and the Venetian Villas: the ancient route of the burchiello.
The Brenta Riviera has always been considered by the Venetians to be the ideal extension of the Grand Canal, thus offering one spectacularity worthy of the lagoon city. On board our motor ships you will have the exclusive opportunity to retrace this lavish path, dear not only to the Venetian nobility but also to the most famous artists and characters of the past centuries.

- Departure from the hotels to meeting point in Stra (VE)
Time 08:45
- Meeting of the participants with motorboat staff and tour guide at the parking lot of VILLA PISANI in Stra (VE).
- Optional visit the villa that it is the most imposing residence on the Brenta Riviera, rich in halls frescoed by the greatest painters of the time and surrounded by a magnificent park that calls it \”the Versailles of the Brenta\”.
- Boarding on the motorboat then navigation on the Brenta canal.
- Stop in Dolo and walk in the characteristic coastal village.

- The on-board kitchen will prepare your lunch with a fish menu according to traditional Venetian recipes.
– Aperitif: Bellini with fruit
– Appetizer: Marinated anchovies, Steamed shrimp and Sardines in Saor alla Veneziana
– First course: Pasta alla Marinara
– Second course: Mixed Fish Fry

Table service. - After lunch, depending on the availability of the villas, could be optional to visit VILLA BARCHESSA VALMARANA, the custodian of paintings of the Venetian Baroque school executed by Michelangelo Schiavoni or VILLA WIDMANN FOSCARI, a sumptuous 18th century residence designed by Andrea Tirali and frescoed by Giuseppe Angeli.
- Once back on board we will sail on the calm waters of the Brenta continuing to admire the countless and majestic villas on the Riviera. Once in the locality of Malcontenta, you will have the opportunity to optionally visit the wonderful VILLA FOSCARI \”LA MALCONTENTA\” designed in 1560 by Andrea Palladio, with walls interior entirely frescoed by Giambattista Franco and Giovanni Battista Zelotti. Navigation will follow up to
Fusina overcoming the water drop of the Moranzani basin, an ancient artifact from the 17th century. built with the mechanism designed by Leonardo da Vinci.

- Arrival in Fusina (VE), end of the excursion, disembarkation of the participants and return to the hotels.
Arrival in Fusina may be delayed dependent on navigation basins, river traffic or other.
